Everything You Need To Know About The New iPhone 13

As an iPhone fan, you are always eager to know what the next model will bring. While the new iPhone 13 should only be released next Fall, many rumors and leaks are already circulating on the Internet.

iPhone 13 Release Date

As you can easily imagine, there isn't still an official iPhone 13 release date. However, and following Apple's pattern for previous launches, the company should launch it on September 24, the 4th Friday of September 2021.

While there was a delay with the iPhone 12 release due to the new coronavirus, we shouldn't expect to see the same happening.

iPhone 13 Price

According to most rumors, the new iPhone 13 should come in the same four sizes as the iPhone 12. Besides the iPhone 13 Pro max, we should also get the 5.4-inch iPhone 13 mini, the 6.1-inch iPhone 13, and the 6.1-inch iPhone 13 Pro. However, you should keep in mind that Apple may drop the mini. After all, the iPhone 12 mini hasn't been selling well.

Yet, there are some rumors that comment on the fact that the company is working on an iPhone 13 foldable. But what about the new iPhone 13 price? Again, there is no certainty but we believe that the prices should be like the iPhone 12 range — $699, $799, $999, and $1,099, respectively.

iPhone 13 Design

The truth is that the iPhone 13 design seems to have a lot of changes. One of the most visible or important ones is the iPhone 13 notch that appears to be a lot smaller. This reflects the combination of the infrared flood illuminator, the sensor, and the dot projector into a single module. This will narrow down the iPhone 13 notch.

But the changes in the design of the iPhone shouldn't stop here. In fact, according to some rumors, we should expect to see a thicker iPhone with larger camera arrays.

The biggest change might be that one model should include a portless design, dropping the Lightning port and opting for charging and data transfer to be carried out wirelessly. However, this needs to be confirmed.

iPhone 13 Display

As we already mentioned above, the new iPhone 13 should come with the same display sizes as the iPhone 12. Even so, there might be some changes in the displays themselves. According to a report, Apple will adopt a 120Hz refresh rate for the 6.1-inch iPhone 13 Pro and 6.7-inch iPhone 13 Pro Max. This will allow for smoother scrolling as well as improved gameplay and video playback.

But more than this, the new iPhone model should feature an LTPO panel made by Samsung Display. The main goal of using an LTPO panel is that it doesn't need extra components under the display to enable an adaptive refresh rate. In the case of the iPhone 13, an LTPO display could enable the phone to not only have a super smooth refresh rate but also keep the neat frame of the iPhone 12.

So, are you looking forward to iPhone 13?
